Culture at Work
Rubrik celebrates itself as an organization that values the inclusivity and diversity of its workforce. I took the opportunity with the marketing team to reinforce this value system by designing swag for employees to cheer them and their different identities and backgrounds.
I created a series of illustrations for the Sales team seated in the new Austin, Texas office and the Indian Independence Day to honour the Indian Rubrik family in the Bangalore office. Both teams gracefully received the swag t-shirts as they acknowledged the sense of belonging and community.
AUSTIN, TX OFFICE
I drew inspiration from the local elements of cultural significance to design the t-shirts for the Sales team. As music is woven into the fabric of Texas, I used discs and electric guitar as visual units of artistic expression around the city's recognizable political symbol - the Texas State Capitol. The vibrant, kinetic graphic language helps to spread the joy of a new office location.
INDIAN INDEPENDENCE
DAY
For this series, I wanted to bring in the literal representations that unite the nation, the national symbols of India (national animal, bird, and flower), and compose them against a flowy abstract setting of dawn and dusk. To commemorate 75 years of a developing country, I wanted to explore these familiar elements of national identity to give them a distinctive, more empowering look and feel. These symbols visually embody India's remarkable progress over the years and tell a one-image story of a thriving, dynamic, beautiful country.
I also extended the visuals into zoom backgrounds to be used globally by Rubrik employees to join in the celebration while interacting with the Indian workforce.
